Gladys of ‘The Chrysalis project’ supports women facing homelessness and complex set of challenges, primarily driven by their mental health circumstances. The women that she currently support are also victims of domestic abuse.
Your support in providing vouchers would not only enable our clients to access the necessary support but also contribute to their overall progress and well-being. By removing the barriers, we can ensure that more women receive the care and support they need to rebuild their lives. This is part of our new women’s group developed to empower our clients.
Also is it possible to get the voucher in card form as this helps in distribution. A lot of our clients have barriers in accessing information in text or emails.
In groups a range of feelings are triggered. Groups provide a very important opportunity to practice having feelings and being facilitated to do something different with them in a supportive space. Women have reported feeling less alone and isolated. This is not due to being with others. It is due to sharing with others.
