Caring for Cambridgeshire Homeless
“The aim of our group is to offer support to the homeless and vulnerably housed in Cambridgeshire.
Small teams of volunteers take out donated items of hot drinks, food, toiletries, clothing and any items that may bring a bit of comfort to a persons life on the streets.
On our visits, we try to bring a sense of worth and a feeling of comfort to our street friends whether that be in the form of a cup of tea, a warm smile or a friendly chat!
Whether you are a street volunteer or a donator your help and support is gratefully received and greatly appreciated by our friends on the street!
Help us to sprinkle some kindness and let them know we care!
CCH often meet up to 25 street friends on their walk. I would like to sell and then give the CCH team at least 25 £5 vouchers so each street friend they meet can buy themselves a snack and non-alcoholic drink when they’re hungry or thirsty.”
I can also pass vouchers you purchase onto other supporting organisations. Currently I am partnered with Jimmy’s, The Cyrenians, Wintercomfort , Romsey Mill Family Centre and Cambridge Housing Society (Railway House)
Please email me if you would like your organisation to receive the vouchers.
Please note: no vouchers are posted out.
Thank you for thinking of people in need who would otherwise not be eating any food or enjoying a hot or cold non-alcoholic drink today
